Coupons
- How do I print coupons?
Select the coupon you’d like to print, then hit "print" in the text listed under the post. The coupon will display in a new window for you to print.
- What does the "clip and save" button do?
It will save the coupon in your profile section.
- Do coupons work at all store locations?
Yes, unless specified otherwise.
- How do I save a coupon search?
Log into your account, then go to the coupons page and submit your search term in the box in the upper right. A results page will appear. Click on the "Save this search" link in the lower left column. Follow the on-screen directions to name your search and manage e-mail alerts.
- How do I add a coupon?
You must sign up for a business account to add a coupon. Log into your account and go to your profile and click the "Coupons" tab. Click "Create a new coupon" and follow the on-screen directions.
Classifieds
- How do I place a classified listing?
Go to the "Classifieds" tab at the top of the site. Click on the "start selling:" button. Select the appropriate category for your item and create your listing. Items must be in the correct category. If there isn't a category for your item, it is not allowed as a free listing.
- Are classifieds really free?
Yes, classified listings are free for members for most items. Certain categories like Vehicles, Pets, Event Tickets, and Garage/Yard Sales are not allowed as a free listing. Businesses are not allowed to post in Classifieds.
- How do I save a listing?
Click on the "save this ad" button under the post.
- How do I save a favorite search?
Type in the keyword in the search area at the top of any page. If you’d like to save the search results, then click "Save this search" in the lefthand corner of the page. You can name your search and it will be saved to your profile page. You can even choose to have us send you a message when new items are posted that match your criteria!
The Deal Board
- What is The Deal Board?
The Deal Board is a forum for members to share and comment on the latest deals around town.
- Who posts deals on The Deal Board?
You can post on The Deal Board with your personal account. Businesses are not permitted to advertise or post on The Deal Board. Home based-business posts must go in the Classifieds section. Any advertising-like posts that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted. Also, please do not send unsolicited private e-mails to our members in order to promote your business. This may result in your being banned from the site. We reserve the right to delete posts or block any members whom we feel are abusing our advertising policies.
- How can I share a deal on The Deal Board?
After you create an account, click on "Deal Board" at the top of the site to get to Deals section. Type your deal in the "Post a Deal" section and hit "submit." You can also post a deal from the Deals.Indy homepage.
Accounts
- What is the difference between a personal account and a business account?
A business can create a profile page, list its store locations, post photos, and create coupons for their goods and services.
You can use your personal account to create free Classified ads, post on The Deal Board, and save your favorite coupons and classifieds to your profile.
- How do I set up an account?
Go to "Log in/sign up" at the top of the site. From there, you’ll be prompted to sign in. Click the "sign up" button and proceed to set up a business or personal account.
